Join Stephen Tucker, Chartered Accountant, for this introductory workshop on tax and bookkeeping.
Whether you are considering self-employment, setting up a new business, or simply looking to learn more about these topics, this workshop will provide practical information and guidance. The session will explore the importance of accurate record-keeping, provide an overview of bookkeeping and business taxation, and highlight the growing requirement for digital reporting.
We will also discuss different business structures, and the importance of choosing the right one, together with making sure you understand your legal responsibilities.
There will be an opportunity at the end of the session to ask questions and discuss other practical aspects of running a business.
About Stephen
Stephen Tucker is qualified Chartered Accountant with over 30 years’ experience in providing advice and support to both individuals and businesses. Stephen is a director of an accountancy firm, DJH Leeds Ltd, he looks after many sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. He also advises on personal and corporate tax matters, alongside other taxes such as capital gains and inheritance tax. Due to his varied experience, Stephen can offer well balanced advice and guidance to individuals and business owners alike.
