We'll all learn how to make lanterns for the parade in Armley park on Sunday 15th November

This is the first lantern building workshop for Armley Park Lantern Parade , a chance to build a lantern to be decorated the week after.

In this first session we will be making the willow and paper lanterns for the parade, and in the second session (Sunday 8/11/26 at 12:30 till 1:45pm) we will be decorating them. Your ticket covers you for both workshops. But, if you can't make it to the second please let us know, and you can have an undecorated lantern.

The Armley Park Lantern Parade will take place on the evening of Sunday the 15th of November from around 4pm ish, further deatils nearer the time.

Because space is limited and because of the layout of the venue, we need you to read this carefully and book the space you need for the participants you'll be bringing.

Please book a table for all people coming, there are tables of 2, 4 or 6 people including at least 1 adult for every 2 children under 8 years old. If you need a smaller table size than availble, please message us and we can split tables up, and allow more people to come.

Please make sure you book the right ticket for the number of people in your party.

If you can't make it to any of the workshops, you can still come enjoy the parade.

Check Facebook for full details.

This is a ticket only event this year to make sure there's ample space for everyone to work on their lanterns.

We have decided to charge again this year we found it meant we had less no shows than in previous years, and less funding to cover the events run by Friends of Armley and Gotts Park. But if cost is an issue, please get in touch.
