The Battle Scars 18+ self-harm peer support group will be held on 8 October 2026 at Onward Mental Health & Wellbeing Hub in Leeds. This free event provides a safe space for individuals to share and support one another.
Our peer support groups are safe, relaxed spaces where you can simply be yourself.
Whether you’re struggling or managing your self-harm well, you’ll find understanding peers, optional activities and the freedom to share as much or as little as you like. No pressure, no judgment — just support, connection and a place to belong.
What to Expect
A relaxed, safe space where you decide how much to take part
Optional activities like craft, art, and board games
Friendly social time before and after the group
No pressure — you’re welcome just to be with us
We also run a fortnightly evening group on a Tuesday and a fortnightly daytime 50+ group on a Friday (https://www.battle-scars-self-harm.org.uk/f2f-support-groups-leeds-adults.html) plus a 16-25s group (https://www.battle-scars-self-harm.org.uk/16-25s-support-group-leeds.html), an LGBTQ+ group (https://www.battle-scars-self-harm.org.uk/lgbtq-f2f-group.html) and groups for family & friends of people who self-harm (https://www.battle-scars-self-harm.org.uk/f2f-support-group-leeds-family.html)
