Stronger Together™ is about much more than exchanging business cards.

These meetings bring people from across health, social care, community support and related services together face to face to build genuine, trusted working relationships.

Good partnerships do not happen after one introduction. They develop when we spend time together, understand what each other does, share challenges, exchange knowledge and discover where we can support one another.

That is why attending in person, and coming along regularly where possible, is such an important part of Stronger Together™.

Jenny Cooper – Leeds Care Association

Jenny will share updates and information relevant to care providers across Leeds.

Helen Cook – Personal Care Specialists

Helen will introduce the Leeds Providers Forum, which she helped to establish, and explain how it supports care providers to connect, share information and work together.

What to expect

The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, but the meeting has a structured agenda so that everyone gets value from the two hours.

There will be opportunities to introduce yourself and your organisation, hear from our speakers, discuss current challenges and opportunities, learn what support is available locally and have meaningful conversations with other people working across the sector.

Please plan to stay for the full meeting wherever possible.

The conversations and introductions build throughout the session, and being there for the duration helps everyone get the most from the meeting.

Why face to face?

Emails, WhatsApp groups, Teams calls and social media all have their place, but they do not replace sitting in a room together.

Stronger Together™ is about knowing the people behind the organisations.

When we understand each other's services, strengths, challenges and values, it becomes much easier to pick up the phone, make an introduction, ask for advice, share capacity or work together when someone in our community needs support.

Relationships take time to build. That is why Stronger Together™ is not about attending once. It is about becoming part of something.
