Join fashion designer and creative Jinal for a mindful, relaxed session practicing the timeless craft of Indian woodblock printing. Experience the beauty and serenity of this traditional craft as you create your own block printed tote bag. During the course of this 2-hour workshop, you will receive expert guidance and will have time to experiment with a range of woodblocks before working on your tote. This workshop is suitable for beginners - all you need is curiosity to learn and a willingness to explore. All materials required for the session will be provided. While an apron is not necessary, printing does involve using wet paint, so you may wish to bring your own or wear something that you wouldn’t mind getting a little extra colour on.The venue is Archive on Kirkstall Road, so drinks and snacks are available to purchase from the cafe. Parking is also available near the venue.
