Ascendance is excited to announce an afternoon of dance, film and music celebrating the creativity of our trainee choreographers and bringing people together to share in the joy of moving and creating.
Taking place on Friday 18th September at the Queen’s Hall, Moortown, ‘Creating, Dancing and Living with Parkinson’s’ will feature performances and discussions about our work developing artists at all stages of life as well as live music, film and an afternoon tea!
We’ll also be launching our brand new toolkit to support others working with older artists and artists with Parkinson’s.
The event will include:
Introduction and launch of toolkit, led by Dr Mel Brierly
Group Performance
Discussions, Performances and Films from Fuse Dance Collective and our trainee choreographers, David Ainsworth, Chris and Chris Grayston and Patrick Johnston
Afternoon Tea
Music by Georgia Jakubiak
