About This Event

The Eureka! Competition offers workshops for Leeds Beckett University students interested in entrepreneurship. Led by Professor Lebene Soga, the first workshop will take place on 7 October 2026 at the Rose Bowl, focusing on identifying target audiences, clarifying business ideas, and pitching effectively. Additional workshops are scheduled for November and February, culminating in a final pitch event in March.

If youre a Leeds Beckett University student with a spark of entrepreneurial spirit, the Eureka Competition is your chance to shine!

Led by Professor Lebene Soga from Leeds Business School, youll join three engaging workshops designed to sharpen your skills and prepare you to pitch your idea to a panel of academics and industry experts.

What youll learn:

How to identify your target audience

How to gain clarity and focus on your business idea

How to pitch with confidencein under 5 minutes!

Workshop 3 Wednesday 3rd February | 1:00pm 2:30pm

Final Pitch Wednesday 31st Match | 4:00pm 7:00pm
