Cycle Instructor led session on how to navigate Leeds City Centre by bike, including using cycling infrastructure.

FREE! Age 16+

You must be able to confidently ride a bike for this session - if not, please book onto one of our beginner sessions.

Have you seen all the cycling infrastructure in Leeds City Centre and would like to use it, but are confused or don't feel confident to do so? This is the session for you!

Led by one of our experienced and qualified cycle instructors, you will be supported to :

Cycle into Leeds City Centre and back, using cycle lanes and infrastructure as much as possible

Ride round the city centre by bike in a small group

Visit sites such as: City Square; Leeds train station; the Town Hall/Museum/Library; LGI and various University sites (depending on the needs of the group)

Find a good route for your journey, if it involves navigating the city centre

Pick up tips to improve your cycling

Gain confidence to cycle independently following the session

We will start and finish at Shakespeare Primary School on Dolly Lane.

You can bring your own bike if you like, but this is not compulsory, as bikes and helmets will be available to borrow.
