Our Pre-Internship Programme runs for one or two years. It's designed to help interns grow in confidence, explore their strengths, and take real steps towards the world of work.

Supported Internships are work-based programmes for young adults aged 18 to 25 with an EHCP, as well as young people taking part in our non-EHCP programme. Our internships are designed to empower young people with SEND and those with additional support needs to develop skills, confidence, and experience needed successfully move into paid employment.

Our trained Job Coaches work alongside interns at our Employer Hosts (placements including John Lewis, KPMG, NHS, Arla and many more) where Suported Interns will work as part of a small team with dedicated work-based buddies for 3 or 4 days a week. The remaining 1 or 2 days of the week are spent at our college site in Headingley working on a varied and engaging curriculum focused around employability, independence skills & well-being.

This Open Event is for anyone hoping to find out more about Internships and what these look like in practice.
