About This Event

Artist Jacob Talbot will host a Lunchtime Conversation at BasementArtsProject in Leeds on 22 November 2026. The event features a home-cooked meal and discussion about his exhibition 'A Space To Breathe' and is free to attend.

The Lunchtime Conversation is a regular fixture in the BasementArtsProject calendar. A home-cooked meal and lively chat with the artist.

Jacob Talbot is a Leeds based artist who employs many different techniques and materials in the production of his artwork. Based in Leeds with a studio at Assembly House in Armley, he graduated from Leeds Arts University in photography. His practice has since expanded to include sculptural installations such as 'The Labyrinth', a commissioned piece he created for the Kirkstall Abbey's Mindfulness festival in 2025.

For his exhibition at BasementArtsProject Jacob will be providing you with the ‘space to breathe’, an incitement for you to slow down, maybe even stop completely, and allow yourself the luxury of a rare moment for introspection in a busy hectic world. Take the time to connect to your deeper self and allow yourself 'A Space To Breathe'.
