Welcome to the weekly mat Pilates class by The Pilates Club at The Girly Scene, held at Leeds Golf Centre in Shadwell, one of the most relaxed and welcoming fitness settings in North Leeds.

Classes run every Thursday evening after work and every Saturday morning, giving you two opportunities each week to move, reset and feel good. Whether you are brand new to Pilates or returning after a break, these sessions are designed to meet you exactly where you are. No experience needed. No equipment required. Just show up and move.

Each 45 minute session is led by Aliza Ayaz and her team, whose approach to movement is rooted in accessibility, community and genuine wellbeing rather than performance or pressure.

🧘 What to Expect: A 45 minute mat Pilates session suitable for all levels. Focus on core strength, posture, flexibility, breath and body awareness. A calm, encouraging and non-intimidating environment. All levels welcome from complete beginners through to those with an existing practice. Just bring yourself and wear something comfortable you can move in.

📍 Where: Leeds Golf Centre, Wike Ridge Lane, Shadwell, Leeds LS17 9JW. Free parking available on site. Easily accessible from Leeds city centre and surrounding North Leeds areas including Moortown, Alwoodley, Roundhay and Harrogate Road.

📋 Good to Know: Please arrive 5 minutes before the session starts. Wear comfortable clothing you can move freely in. A yoga mat is recommended so bring your own if you have one. Water is recommended. These classes are suitable for all fitness levels including beginners, those returning to exercise and those managing mild injuries, though please let the instructor know of any relevant health conditions before the session begins.

🎫 Tickets: £12 per person per session. Drop-in, no commitment required. Tickets are non-refundable but fully transferable. Reschedule requests accepted up to 48 hours before your session.
