A carbon literacy workshop scheduled for Nexus at the University of Leeds will run on 22 October. Attendees will receive knowledge and confidence to accelerate decarbonisation across their logistics activities. The price for this event is listed as £149.00.
Equip your teams with the knowledge and confidence to accelerate decarbonisation across your logistics activities.
The transition to low-carbon logistics is already underway and the organisations that succeed will be those that equip their teams with the knowledge, confidence and practical tools to act now.
This is an interactive in-person carbon literacy workshop created specifically for professionals and teams supporting the decarbonisation of logistics and supply chain activities. Designed for commercial, operational and sustainability-focused roles, the workshop translates climate concepts into practical, business-relevant action.
Through engaging discussion, real-world logistics examples and collaborative exercises, participants will build a clear understanding of carbon emissions, climate impacts and the role the logistics sector plays in enabling a lower-carbon future.
The workshop moves beyond theory to focus on practical implementation, helping attendees identify opportunities within their own organisation, engage colleagues and customers, and contribute meaningfully to sustainability and net-zero goals.
Participants will leave with:
A stronger understanding of climate science and carbon emissions
Practical insight into Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions within logistics operations
Greater understanding of carbon accounting methods
Awareness of low-carbon solutions, renewable energy opportunities and emerging industry trends
Actionable ideas to support change within their organisation and day-to-day role
The workshop is delivered by Kelly Hobson, a sustainability and logistics professional with extensive experience supporting organisations on decarbonisation, carbon literacy and sustainable supply chain transformation.
Drawing on practical industry experience and real-world case studies, the session is designed to be accessible, engaging and directly relevant to professionals navigating the transition to net zero within their logistics activities either as a service provider or as part of a supply chain decarbonisation programme.
On successful completion attendees will achieve a Carbon Literate Certificate.
