Are you itching to see more areas of the Mills? Visit us during our Heritage Festival weekend for an access all areas tour! Hear the story of Sunny Bank Mills and its people during a 1 hour long tour lead by one of the family business' Managing Directors who worked here whilst the Mills were still producing cloth and are now forging the site's future as a thriving cultural space! You’ll visit hidden historic spaces not normally open to the public and hear atmospheric industrial soundscapes whilst we tell you all about the Sunny Bank Mills and its regeneration. Please wear appropriate footwear if you plan to join the tour. Starting from the Main Yard (by the old loom). All proceeds from the tours will go towards preserving our Textile Museum & Archive. Online booking closes 2 hours before each tour. Any available tickets on the day can be booked from the Gallery or Museum & Archive by cash or card (exact change only). PLEASE NOTE – The tour will involve some uphill walking and stops in disused buildings with step-only access. If anyone in your party has access requirements, our 30 minute accessible & family friendly tours may be more appropriate.
