Tech Career Kickstart - Building Confidence

Starting a career in tech can feel exciting - but also overwhelming. Tech Career Kickstart is an empowering and practical event designed to help people new to or aspiring to careers in tech build confidence to take those first steps. Whether you're a student, graduate, returner, career switcher or in your first few years in industry, this session will equip you with the mindset and tools to succeed.

Through honest story-telling and real-life conversations, you will hear directly from colleagues at Lloyds Banking Group in various stages of their careers - sharing what it's really like to get started in tech, from navigating imposter syndrome to learning on the job.

Live demos and a reverse panel discussion will bring these experiences to life, helping attendees build confidence in speaking up, asking questions and tackling challenges without fear of getting it wrong.

At it's core, the event is about connection so there will be an opportunity to network too. By creating a safe, inclusive space where no question is too small, our event reinforces that confidence grows when we support and learn from each other - we are strong together.
