As part of Morley Literature Festival, we are delighted to welcome acclaimed artist Diane Shilto for a special creative writing workshop inspired by memory, loss, and the gentle process of finding our place in the world again.
The Garden of Lost and Found is a calm, supportive and reflective session exploring bereavement, change and remembrance through creative writing. Drawing inspiration from Diane's beautiful artistic practice, participants will be invited to reflect on the people, places and moments that remain with us, and to explore how creativity can help us reconnect with ourselves after loss.
Taking place during Remembrance Weekend, this workshop offers a welcoming space to pause, remember and create. Through simple writing prompts and guided exercises, you'll have the opportunity to express thoughts and memories in whatever way feels right for you.
No previous writing experience is needed. Whether you write regularly or have never put pen to paper before, you are warmly welcome.
