An unmissable opportunity to witness a performance from a world-class concert pianist live on the Ratcliffe stage.

It is our pleasure to invite you to an evening of musical entertainment here at Ratcliffe College, courtesy of our partnership with Steinway & Sons, taking place on Monday 12th October 2026. We are a proud All-Steinway School, housing some of the world’s finest instruments in our College, including a Model D concert grand in our Music Hall.

The evening will begin with a buffet dinner in the Refectory at 6.00pm, after which we will move to the Music Hall for a recital to be given by the world-renowned concert pianist, Andrew Zolinksy.

Andrew Zolinsky’s unique style of programming and his individual interpretations have secured worldwide performances at many prestigious venues and festivals. His work with living composers brings a vivid freshness, energy and passion to his interpretations of music from previous eras. He has performed with major orchestras, including the BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, London Sinfonietta, Philharmonia Orchestra, London Concert Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra (Dublin) and the Orchestre National de Lorraine.

In addition to his performing career, Andrew is professor of piano at the Royal College of Music. We are honoured that he will be visiting Ratcliffe College to perform an recital for us, with a programme including works by composers such as Ravel, Beethoven, Debussy, Scriabin, Rachmaninoff and Ginastera.

Tickets are priced at £25 for adults and £15 for students. We welcome attendees across the College community and local area, although attendance will be of particular benefit to students currently studying GCSE or A Level Music and their families. Students attending should wear school uniform, for all others attending the dress code is smart casual.
