KACPER JANKOWSKI - a 15 year old pianist - will be performing a solo piano recital at St Andrews, Aylestone on October 11th in LEICESTER!

Kacper Jankowski is an exceptionally talented British-Polish pianist, composer, and organ scholar based in Leicester. He began his musical journey out of curiosity at the age of nine and advanced to serious, classical training at age eleven under Professor David Cowen and Jude Richardson. His technical mastery and emotional depth quickly brought him recognition, securing second place in the advanced piano recital competition in Leicester and advancing to the semi-finals of the prestigious Wales International Piano Competition. Parallel to his achievements on the keys, Jankowski serves as an organ scholar at English Martyrs School, an appointment that has seen him perform at historic venues such as Temple Church in London and King's College, Cambridge. He is also a versatile ensemble player and vocalist, singing bass in local choirs and the Schola Cantorum, playing piano for the EMS Jazz Band, and composing original orchestral works that have been premiered by Leicester’s own Clarendon Park Orchestra.

On October 11th, Jankowski will showcase his expansive repertoire during a highly anticipated solo recital at St Andrew's Church in Aylestone, Leicester (located on Old Church Street, LE2 8ND). The performance will feature Robert Schumann's deeply evocative Kinderszenen (Scenes from Childhood) and Ludwig van Beethoven's timeless Moonlight Sonata, capturing the dramatic and delicate contrasts of the Romantic and Classical eras. Alongside these monumental masterworks, the concert will highlight his affinity for the foundational beauty of Johann Sebastian Bach, the elegance of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and the passionate brilliance of Frédéric Chopin, promising an evening of world-class music that bridges multiple generations of classical history.
