Carrie's War is set during the Second World War. It follows two young London evacuees who are fostered in Wales.
This heart‑warming and mysterious tale follows siblings Carrie and Nick as they are evacuated from London to a Welsh mining village where they live with stern Mr Evans and gentle Auntie Lou. They become entangled in the mysteries of Druid’s Bottom and its eccentric residents. Amid superstition, secrets, and a supposedly cursed skull, they discover bravery in unexpected places.
