Join the Canal & River Trust and Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service for a FREE family fun day at Kilby Bridge.

Visit us for fun activities and demonstrations, including:

✅ Canoeing sessions

✅ Essential water safety skills

✅ Live rescue demonstrations

A fantastic day out for all ages!

📅 Before You Book

This is a free activity, and places are extremely limited.

Unfortunately, last-minute cancellations are very common and often leave places that cannot be filled in time. Please only book if you fully intend to attend on the day.

By cancelling at the last minute, you may prevent someone else from taking part in this popular event.

Please note: Only registered attendees will be permitted to take part

You are not able to walk into this event unless you have a ticket

Please ensure your arrive 10 minutes before your booking time

🚣 Information

Your visit will be split into two blocks. (Water Safety and Canoeing)

Each sessions last approximately 45 minutes

Suitable for adults and juniors (Under 4's will not be able to canoe).

Juniors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

👕 What to Wear & Bring

You do not need any specialist equipment.

Please come dressed in:

Comfortable, suitable clothing

An old pair of shoes or trainers

No open-toed footwear

We also recommend bringing:

A change of clothes

Spare footwear

A towel

You may get wet during the activities.
