The Ibstock Factory Tour will be a valuable insight into the complete brick manufacturing process, from raw material extraction and blending through to forming, firing, quality control, and dispatch. Visitors will gain a better understanding of the technical expertise, investment, and quality assurance measures required to produce a consistent, high-performance brick product.

On this guided tour around the manufacturing plant, you'll understand the end-to-end brick manufacturing process, developing an appreciation of how raw materials influence colour and performance. You'll see first-hand the firing process and its impact on product quality, and will better understand production capacities & lead times. You'll learn about quality control procedures and testing standards, as well as gaining insight into sustainability initiatives, energy efficiency, and waste reduction.

After the tour, we will have dinner together on site, so you can discuss what you've learned, and ask any further questions of the Ibstock professionals.

PPE - Ideally all visitors to bring safety boots, hi-vis vest & hard hat.

Most of the factory is wheelchair accessible and can accommodate those with mobility limitations. Much of the factory is loud, and headsets are available to aid communication.
