Get ready to kickstart the festive season and make a real difference in your local community at the Mental Elf Festive Fun Run Leicester! Join us on Sunday 29th November at Victoria Park, Leicester, for a fun-filled, family-friendly event raising vital funds and awareness for mental health across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. Hosted by Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Mind, this festive 5km event brings together people of all ages and abilities to support better mental health. Whether you choose to run, jog or walk, every step you take helps us be there for local people experiencing mental health challenges. Why take part? By joining Mental Elf, you'll be helping to ensure that people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland can access the mental health support, advice and services they need. Demand for mental health support continues to grow, and every participant and fundraiser helps us reach more people when they need us most. Most importantly, you'll enjoy a fantastic morning filled with festive spirit, community connection and fun for the whole family. Event Details 📅 Sunday 29th November 🕦 Run starts at 11.30am 📝 Registration opens at 10.30am 📍 Victoria Park, Leicester The route is approximately 5km and can be completed at your own pace. Whether you're a seasoned runner, an occasional walker, pushing a buggy or bringing along your four-legged friend, everyone is welcome. Well-behaved dogs are encouraged to join in the festive fun! Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Find Your Inner Elf! Dust off your elf costume, Christmas jumper, festive hat or sparkliest accessories and help us fill Victoria Park with festive cheer. The more elves, the better! Facilities The Leicester University Students' Union, just a short walk from the start and finish line, will be open from 10.30am–3.30pm for: Registration Refreshments Toilets Warm indoor space to gather before and after the event Make Your Miles Matter Your ticket helps us host the event, but we'd love you to take your support one step further by fundraising for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Mind. Every pound raised helps local people access vital mental health support and ensures no one has to face a mental health problem alone.
