About This Event

Limerick History Festival returns from Wednesday 30 September to Wednesday 7 October 2026 with a city-wide programme exploring the people, places and stories that shaped Limerick. The official programme includes free tours of the People’s Museum, Limerick Museum and Randel Hodkinson’s Workshop, free walking tours through Limerick City and the Georgian Quarter, exhibition activity, lectures and heritage events at locations including Arthur’s Quay Park, City Hall and the People’s Museum. The festival runs across Limerick City from 30 September to 7 October 2026. Individual programme times and locations vary. A number of the advertised programme events are free to attend.
