Short course on CNC Cutting to get you started using our CNC Router. No previous experience required.

Our Equipment Introductions consist of short courses, that will get you started using Fab Lab equipment. These are introductory courses. No previous experience is required.

CNC Cutting

Learn to make your own designs in timber, or materials like Plywood and MDF, with our professional ShopBot CNC Router. Learn how to prepare your own designs, materials possible, tools and safe operation of the machine.

Bring along a notebook, or a laptop if you wish. We use a program called V-Carve Pro, and we can share free use of their Makerspace Edition, and set you up on the day to make your own designs! If there is time, we can try it small tests, or demos. Contact us, if you have any queries.

Dates and Times: This course is on Saturday, October 3rd from 11am. The course will take approx. 2hr 30 mins.

Pricing: Workshops are €30 for students or €45 for adults.

Restrictions: Under 14's must be accompanied by an adult.

Note: There are concessions available if you have done the 3D Printing and Laser tutorial already. Email us (fablab@saulstudio.ie) if you would like to avail of this.
