About This Event

Whistling Walk will take place at Old Chapel Rooms, Kilfinane in Limerick on 2026-10-09, with a ticket price of £6.34, offering a unique whistling lesson and walk through scenic fields.

Learn the skill of whistling a tune while enjoying a walk through the scenery of Poulnadiha and Kileen Fields.

Join us for something a little different as part of the 30th Ballyhoura Walking Festival.

A collaboration with the Joyce Brothers Music Festival, this gentle evening walk will be led by Anita Bennis through the scenery of Poulnadiha and Kileen Fields.

Along the way, participants will have the opportunity to learn the skill of whistling a tune, combining a relaxed countryside walk with a little of the musical tradition at the heart of this special festival weekend.

The walk is suitable for those looking for an enjoyable and accessible way to explore the countryside around Kilfinane.

Starting/Finishing Point: Old Chapel Rooms, Kilfinane, Co. Limerick, V35 V998

Distance: Approx. 4–5 km

Duration: 1.5-2 hours

Cost: €5

What to Bring: Appropriate outdoor walking footwear and clothing are recommended. Please dress for the weather conditions on the day.

Please note that dogs are not allowed on this walk!
