Take on one of the biggest challenges of the 30th Ballyhoura Walking Festival with a full marathon-distance walk through the hills and trails of the Ballyhoura region.

Led by the experienced Ballyhoura Bears Walking Club, this strenuous 42 km route takes in Seefin, the Darragh Hills and Blackrock, with a total elevation gain of more than 1,200 metres.

With approximately 10–11 hours of walking, this is a demanding day in the hills and is suitable for experienced and well-prepared hillwalkers with a good level of fitness.

A meal after the walk is included as part of the event.

Please note that this is a strenuous, full-day mountain walk. Participants should ensure they have the fitness and experience required to comfortably undertake a 42 km route with significant elevation gain.
