Take on the Ballyhoura Half-Marathon Walk, a 21 km guided challenge through some of the most scenic and historic parts of the Ballyhoura region as part of the 30th Ballyhoura Walking Festival.

Led by the Ballyhoura Bears Walking Club, this moderate to strenuous walk offers a rewarding day out for experienced walkers looking to explore more of the Ballyhoura landscape.

Covering approximately 21 km over 5–6 hours, participants should have a good level of fitness and be comfortable walking for several hours over varied terrain.

Starting Point: Ballyhoura Apple Farm, Kilfinane

Start Time: 10 am

Duration: approx. 5-6 hours

Grade: Moderate/Strenuous

What to bring:

Appropriate hiking boots – essential

Waterproof/raingear

Suitable outdoor clothing for the conditions
