This is a frank and practical workshopHow do we think about & manage money as artists in Ireland in 2026/7both personally and professionally (if there's a difference)you will be asked about what you earn, what you charge, where you learned/didn't learn to budget, how you split bills with friends and loversViva will share some of their personal approaches informed by years of teaching maths and facilitating people through things they are scared to do.

Viva Dean is an artist, facilitator and researcher at Queen's University Belfast investigating gendered relationships to technology and sound.

They have been a full-time, funded artist for the last 4 consecutive years,

They are experienced with managing large project budgets, tax reporting, contracting other artists for work... and they taught maths for 6 years

This workshop is being hosted by Spacecraft studios as part of there professional development program, that has been funded by the arts council of Ireland.
