About This Event

The BIG Park Read event at Sefton Park Palm House in Liverpool is a free event on August 29, 2026, with optional donations of up to £5.

In celebration of Read Retreat’s first anniversary, join us in Sefton Park, Liverpool. Bring a book, a blanket and snacks and let's read.

Join us for our biggest event yet as we mark one year of Read Retreat Repeat!

RRR’s BIG read in the park, an invitation to pause, breathe, and celebrate the power of a good book. We’re gathering our community in the park for an afternoon of reading and celebration.

Bring your favourite read, a cosy blanket, snacks and a friend. Whether you come to lose yourself in a book, share recommendations with new friends, or soak up the sunshine, this is our way of saying thank you for being part of our first year.

Let’s make it a day to remember.
