Support your team through cancer with confidence, join our free expert workshop at Maggie’s Wirral. Over 500,000 people in the UK are working with cancer, a number set to rise significantly by 2030. In partnership with a local employment law firm, Maggie’s Wirral is offering a free, face-to-face workshop designed to help employers build the right support for colleagues affected by cancer. Ideal for HR professionals, line managers, and employees, this practical session covers: -The emotional, physical, and psychological impact of cancer -Workplace challenges and how to respond with empathy -Effective communication and supportive management approaches -Creating a workplace framework to support staff -Managing a gradual return to work While booking is free, donations are welcomed (especially for group bookings) to help us continue supporting people affected by cancer across Merseyside and Cheshire.
