Year of Reading: A Place For Us - Creative Reading and Writing Workshops

Come and join this free 4-part course with author and Royal Literary Fund Fellow, Zoë Howe.

Important Information

Starting Tuesday 1st September 11-1pm, and continuing on the first Tuesday of each month until Tuesday 1st December.

Booking for the first week guarantees your space for the following three sessions.

Please only book a place if you can attend all 4 sessions.

In this free fun series of four workshops we will be reading and discussing writing about place.

There will be writing prompts and you will be invited to explore your own creative responses.

Using the Royal Literary Fund’s Vox archive, we will explore writings from acclaimed authors and share our own insights and opinions in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. One workshop will include a short outdoor walk.

Places are limited and must be booked in advance.

Zoë Howe is the author of 14 published books, spanning the worlds of music, culture and folklore. She recently led a series of writers’ panel events at Liverpool Central Library as part of the RLF’s Northern Hub project.
