Guests will spend five hours exploring the venue in small groups while taking part in a range of traditional and modern paranormal experiments.

The evening will begin with registration and a full safety briefing. Experienced team members will then guide each group through the approved investigation areas.

Activities may include:

EVP and audio recording

Spirit-box communication sessions

EMF and environmental monitoring

Thermal imaging

Dowsing experiments

Traditional vigils

Quiet observation periods

Small-group communication sessions

Equipment will be provided, although guests may bring their own cameras, audio recorders or handheld paranormal equipment.

No previous experience is required. The team will explain how the equipment works and support guests throughout the investigation.

This is not a staged Halloween attraction. DeadLive does not use actors, jump scares, fake ghosts or manufactured paranormal activity.

We cannot guarantee that anything unexplained will happen. Guests will be encouraged to examine their experiences and decide for themselves.

First licensed in 1777 under Elizabeth Heys, The Coffee House quickly became Wavertree’s social heart – hosting lively Assemblies, political meetings, and horse-bus travellers. By the 19th century, its opulent interiors (designed by famed architect Walter Thomas) welcomed day-trippers gazing over open fields that later housed the White Star Line sports ground. Though the cobbled forecourt has shrunk and the arch to the old Crown Brewery is bricked up, the building’s ancient sandstone foundations and lingering spirits remain untouched by time.
