Relaxed, social life drawing at Half Space, Liverpool. Beginner-friendly, creative fun, BYOB and live model. Life Drawing at Half Space, Baltic, Liverpool. A design Led Coffee shops and creative co-working space. Life Drawing with HOP Create & connect at our relaxed arty socials! We celebrate the human form in all its glory, whether you’re an experienced artist or trying it for the first time. It’s a laid-back, creative escape for your mind and soul. Can’t draw? No worries! There are no rules here, stick figures, abstract shapes, or perfectly proportioned sketches, everything’s welcome. What's Included? Art Materials: Drawing boards, pencils, charcoal, and paper are provided, but feel free to bring your preferred materials. Professional Nude Model: The model will pose in timed sessions ranging from 1 to 15 minutes. Guidance & Freestyle Time: You’ll receive creative drawing prompts for the first few poses. After the warm-up, you’ll have time to explore your own artistic flair. Jazzy Jazz Playlist: A chilled-out playlist, perfect for unwinding after work. Refreshments & Food BYOB, who doesn't love BYOB (£5 corkage payable to Half Space) Coffee's, soft drinks and snacks available from the venue. Schedule 6.45–7pm: Arrive, grab equipment, and find a seat 7pm: Start with 4 warm-up poses with prompts, followed by freestyle 2–8-minute poses 8pm: 15-minute break 8.15pm: 10–15-minute poses 9pm: The end! Accessibility Ground floor Refund Policy No refunds are available if the event goes ahead as scheduled. However, you can transfer your ticket to someone else. For date transfers, please provide at least 72 hours' notice. Photos I may take photos during the event for social media. If you'd prefer not to be featured, please email us in advance. Who is HOP? Our life drawing founder and host, Lisa Payne, is a colourful art print and greeting card designer who creates for joy. Her feel-good brand, House of Payne (HOP), is stocked in Oliver Bonas, The Whitworth Gallery, and more. Before launching HOP and hosting life drawing sessions, Lisa spent over a decade as an in-house print designer, creating patterns for bedding, wallpaper, and more. Now, she shares her passion for creativity, colour, and self-expression, hoping others find joy, mindfulness, and calm through art.
