Details:
Join Shelly for a short walk around Rimrose Valley's less familiar trails, build confidence and relax with some shared reading from nature-themed text.
All reading materials provided, though you might want to bring a flask and something to sit on (in case the benches are occupied).
There's no pressure to read out loud, simply turn up and listen to a great poem or story, whilst out in nature.
Nature for HEART is a series of events and activities designed to get more and more people active on Rimrose Valley, connecting with each other and the park’s nature.
Coordination of this project has funded by the National Lottery’s Awards for All programme and the PH Holt Foundation.
Important information:
Please note the duration of this walk - up to 1 hour
We will be following some of Rimrose's smaller, informal trails with uneven terrain. If you have any mobility issues, please contact us in advance.
Children are welcome to join, but must be accompanied by an adult. There is no need to book a place for a child
We are limiting this event to 12 places, so please ensure you register using this Eventbrite booking only, which will ask for your contact details. Anyone not on the booking will be unable to join the group.
We want this to be open to as many people as possible, so we have limited the amount of places you can reserve to 2. Please only book the number of places you need and if you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking so your place can be allocated to someone else. Let us know if you need help with this
Please ensure that you arrive in plenty of time. The walk will begin at midday prompt
Come prepared for the weather - anything from rain/waterproofs to glorious sunshine/sunscreen!
As ever, we encourage everyone to come on foot or to use public transport wherever possible. If you have to come by car, there is limited parking nearby, so please park responsibly
