Workshop Description

This is an interactive, discussion and reflection-based workshop led by a qualified trans-affirming sex therapist and trauma therapist. The session focuses on cultivating intimacy and exploring pleasure while navigating dysphoria, transition, and/or trauma. It will include a mix of brief psychoeducation, reflective discussion, and low-pressure communication tools. This is an educational, safe space designed to celebrate trans joy and pleasure as a form of resistance.

Facilitator Bio

Mariia Goubernik (they/them) is a practicing psychotherapist, sex-therapist, and trauma-therapist qualified in EMDR and trauma-focused approaches. They work primarily with queer and trans people, individuals, couples, and groups, helping community members cultivate intimacy, safety, and self-care.
