The Wirral and Denbighshire RNLI Lifeguards are hosting a HYROX-inspired Lifeguard fitness event.

This event will consist of 8 x 1km runs, each followed by a functional exercise inspired by lifeguard operations, incorporating RNLI equipment. Competitors can enter as individuals, doubles, or teams of four in a relay format.

All ticket donations will contribute towards a £25,000 seasonal fundraising target for the RNLI, with proceeds collated through a central JustGiving page. Set up your own fundraising page or make a donation here - https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/lifeguards-25th

The event will run from 14:30 to 21:00 and will be supported by volunteers from lifeguard teams, local stations, and staff.

The exercises consist of:

1. TBC

2. ATV push

3. ATV pull

4. Burpee Broad Jumps

5. 200m Mannequin drag

6. 200m Farmers carry

7. 100m walking lunges

8. TBC

Followed by a 1km run on the promenade
