Liverpool! Enter the world of Studio Ghibli and paint your favourite scenes & Characters with watercolour!

Join us at Duke Street MKT, Liverpool where we'll be holding our special Studio Ghibli Painting workshop!

To help you get started, we will teach you some basic drawing and watercolour techniques including colour mixing as well as line drawing and guide you through your painting session throughout. To help get you started, the session will start with a demonstration from our teacher afterwhich you will complete your own painting. All experience levels are welcome, our teacher will adjust her advice according to your experience.

We will bring along a wide selection of Studio Ghibli references for you to choose from but for sure, if you have a particular favourite, you're welcome to bring along your own reference. In our workshops you choose what you want to paint.

This painting class is suitable for beginners as well as those with a little more artistic experience, so don't worry if it's your first time. Our vastly experienced teacher and local practicing artist Ula will be on hand to provide guidance and answer any questions you may have as you get busy creating your marvelous masterpiece.

At the end of your art class, you'll get the chance to stand back and admire your result or sharing your experiences with the group. You'll head home with your completed piece and a new skill that's perfect to practice whenever you're looking to clear your head.

This workshop is located at Duke St Market in Liverpool. A modern and popular Street food Market. The workshop is in a private room with a natural sky light. Food & Drink can be ordered before, during or after the workshop which we encourage you to enjoy.

*Towards the end of the workshop there will be an opportunity for you to get your photo taken. We will use these photos for social media and promotional use. Please let us know if you're not comfortable with this.

• Beginner friendly - all levels welcome.

Materials (all provided)

•Artist grade Japanese Sakura Watercolour, pen and watercolour paper.

What you'll get:

• Protective equipment such as aprons.

What to bring

• Comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little paint on.

• A carrying bag for take your artworks home.
