Mae'r gweithdy hyfforddi undydd ymarferol, llond hwyl hwn mewn Pyrotechnics Llwyfan yn rhoi trosolwg i fynychwyr o wahanol ddyfeisiadau pyrotechnig, eu defnydd a'r materion iechyd a diogelwch perthnasol.

Bydd cwblhau'r cwrs yn gwarantu aelodaeth i'r *ASP, a fydd yn eich galluogi i rannu gwybodaeth a deialog gyda thechnegwyr, gweithredwyr, tîmau adran gelf a rheolwyr eraill am arfer gorau ar gyfer defnyddio pyrotechneg mewn adloniant llwyfan.

Pwy ddylai gymryd rhan?

Unrhyw un sydd â diddordeb mewn Pyrotechneg Theatrig/Llwyfan sydd am gwybodaeth pellach am drin a defnyddio cynhyrchion o'r fath yn ddiogel. Pyro Satey Awareness

In partnership with the Venue Cymru

This practical, fun, one-day training workshop in Stage Pyrotechnics provides participants with an overview of different pyrotechnic devices, their uses and the relevant health and safety matters.

Completion of the course will guarantee you membership to the *ASP, which will enable you to share information and dialogue with other technicians, art department, operators and managers on best practice for using pyrotechnics in stage entertainment.

Who should participate?

Anyone interested in Theatrical/Stage Pyrotechnics who seeks a greater depth of knowledge regarding the safe handling and use of such products. The course may also be valuable to other workers e.g. local authority inspectors, fire service personnel, insurers and those managing technical, production and art department workers. The course also addresses issues to delegates associated with a fear of pyrotechnics.

Minimum age 18 years

Objectives

By the end of the session you should be able to:

Assist operators use the products safely and with improved confidence.

Minimise accidents.

Reduce operational failures.

Provide discussion/ understanding to operators of considered best practice.

Emphasise responsibilities when working with hazardous materials.

Provide learning via hands-on experience with live devices under supervision.

Develop Risk Assessment methods and reducing risks to As Low As Reasonably Practical levels.

Demonstrate industry proven methods of operation over that of dubious

Operate within a controlled and supervised environment.

Educate and inform as well as to assist in dispelling many myths surrounding the subject.

Learning Methods & Techniques

Presentations and group workshop sessions using live demonstrations, practical group workshops and multimedia.

During the Stage Pyrotechnics training course there will be a number of live device demonstrations as well as lessons in series wiring, risk assessment and flame proofing. The equipment and devices used, demonstrated and viewed during the course will include products from such manufacturers as Le Maitre, Skyhigh, Theatrical Pyrotechnics and Wells.
