6 rounds of Rapidplay chess with a time control of all moves in 15 minutes with a 5 second increment from move 1. Limited capacity for around 60 players. The event provides qualifying opportunities for Under 8, Under 10, & Under 12 Major/Minor LJCC Finals. The tournament will take place in the Hall downstairs (ground floor).

The parents waiting area will be in the Warwick Room (upstairs). The bar area (ground floor) has very limited space. Please keep the noise to a minimum to respect the players during the tournament and other activities taking place upstairs during the day.

Schedule

Round 1 at 10:30, Round 2 at 11:20, Round 3 at 12:10

Lunch at 13:00

Round 4 at 13:30, Round 5 at 14:20, Round 6 at 15:10

Prize Giving around 16:00-16:15 estimated start.

The entry fee is £50. The entry fee is calculated at this rate factoring in the location as well as the limited capacity and tournament costs.
