About This Event

You've got the offer. Spend a day with ACMM meeting current students and doctors, and getting ready for medical/dental school! We're bringing together medicine/dentistry offer holders for a day of honest conversation about starting medical/dental school, the parts that show up in the prospectus and the parts that don't. You'll hear from current students and qualified doctors about what the first year actually looks like, how they found their footing, and what they wish someone had told them in September. About ACMM African Caribbean Medical Mentors is a UK charity working to address the underrepresentation of Black students in medicine and dentistry through mentoring, outreach, and events that support students at every stage of the journey. Uni is a lot easier when you're not doing it alone. Come and meet the people you'll be going through it with.
