"Every bad situation is a blues song waiting to happen.” DJ will be play both world famous albums Frank and Back To Back on sweet harmonic sounding vinyl so I'm sure there will be **a song for you.** As well as the music - there will be plenty of melody fuled chats, drinks and maybe some dancing. The music will effortlessly tell her story reflected in those deep **expressive vocals and heartfelt lyrics** infused with elements of soul, reggae, rhythm n blues, rock n roll, hip-hop and of course jazz And on that distinct voice George Michael: "Amy was, in my opinion, the most soulful vocalist this country has ever seen" Amy's Story Like many of us working class North Londoners, she had a very ordinary humble "street" upbringing infused with **best friends** and music but there was more; undiluted creativity, intense emotional depth and a rare unpretentious humble non-materialistic brassy personality to boot. But as a former British Prime Minister famously said "events, dear girl, events" conspired ultimately to lead to her young death that befell great iconic artists before her including Monroe, Elvis, Prince and Whitney. She was only 27 but in a superficial fickle world that like many deep people she was not meant for, it was almost inevitable.. As Roxy Music's Bryan Ferry who she adored once sung: "Love is a Drug". And it was that most dangerous aphrodisiac potion in the world took it's final and most potent toll.. I will send out my number to attendees half an hour before the event in case of issues finding us. Desperately needing Rehab: Lucas
