About This Event

On the evening of August 17, 2026, the Shaftesbury Theatre in London came alive with the vibrant energy of Avenue Q, a live theatrical production that masterfully told the story of an eclectic group of characters navigating life amidst New York City's Avenue Q. The sophisticated yet relatable tale resonated deeply with audiences, encapsulating themes of friendship, ambition, and coming-of-age through the skillful performances of various talented actors.

About Avenue Q

Avenue Q is back in the West End after two decades. The three-time Tony Award-winning musical follows Princeton, fresh out of college and looking for his purpose, as he moves into a shabby apartment on New York’s rundown Avenue Q and meets his new neighbours.

As they deal with work, love and paying the bills, the story is told with humour and a cast of colourful characters. The production features original Broadway director Jason Moore and original puppet designer Rick Lyon.

The season is strictly limited this spring.
