The Shaftesbury Theatre presents *Avenue Q*, a Tony Award-winning musical comedy that blends puppetry with human acting to explore adult themes of work, love, and societal issues. This production, featuring music by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx alongside a book by Jeff Whitty, parodies the format of *Sesame Street* while addressing subjects ranging from racism to internet pornography. The show follows Princeton, a recent college graduate navigating life in New York's rundown Avenue Q alongside a colourful cast of neighbours. Running for a strictly limited season, the performance offers a sharply comic narrative about finding purpose and facing financial realities.
