We are delighted to invite you to join us for this community engagement event as part of the Healthier Wealthier Families in East London research study.
Healthier Wealthier Families is exploring how co-locating welfare benefits advice within health services can improve families' access to financial support and contribute to better health and wellbeing.
Working in partnership with local organisations and communities, the project is co-designing a practical toolkit to support the development and delivery of accessible, inclusive and responsive co-located health and welfare advice services. The toolkit is being developed with the Magpie Graduate Mums - mothers supported by The Magpie Project, a Newham-based charity that works with women with insecure or recently acquired immigration status and their young children.
This event will bring together mums, welfare advice providers, healthcare professionals, community partners and researchers to share experiences, explore the co-designed toolkit, discuss the research findings, and consider how co-located health and welfare advice services can better support families in East London.
