Watching some of the best animated short films you will ever see surrounded by some of the best people you will ever meet :)

Join us at Mayday rooms for an afternoon screening of some of our favourite short animated films that we have been obsessed with recently. Also featuring two picks from this screening's guest curator, the amazing animator Mariana Leal.

We are so excited to share this amazing line up of independant animation to make you smile, laugh, and maybe even fall back in love with being alive?? In the words of our guest curator Mariana, the screening has themes of: coming of age and feeling out of place and also leans into materiality and technique.

Featured filmmakers: Conor Kehelly, Sarah Ruyle, Lou-Ann Nony, Xiaohan Sun, Saki Muramoto, Andrew Onorato, Jordan Wong, Florian Schonerstedt, Jess Mountfield.

Doors will open at 2pm and the screening will begin 20 minutes later.

Please Note: Due to the screening room being upstairs, we will not be able to let in any latecomers once the screening has started, so please please make sure you arrive promptly at 2pm to make sure you can enjoy the screening!
