Our Riverside Market will be transformed into a hub for chess enthusiasts, bringing together seasoned players, aspiring competitors and curious newcomers in one of London's most distinctive riverside destinations. Throughout the event, visitors will have the opportunity to meet members of Hammersmith Chess Club, enjoy informal games, learn more about the club and discover why chess continues to captivate players of all ages. Whether you're a regular at the board or making your first move, everyone is invited to take part. At the heart of the day will be an English Chess Federation-rated Rapidplay Tournament, featuring a minimum of six rounds and a time control of 15 minutes plus 10 seconds per move.
