Blood on the Clocktower (FOR BEGINNERS) – Afternoon Session Join us for some Blood on the Clocktower, as tragedies and gory betrayals happen in the sleepy town of Ravenswood Bluff once again. This session is tailored for complete beginners or those with only a few games under their belt. Whether you’re stepping into a world of mischief and mystery for the first time or looking to build your confidence, all are welcome to come along and spin their very own tales at Ravenswood Bluff with our talented Storytellers. Doors open at midday and the game will start shortly after with a full rules explanation. There will be a food break at 2:30 pm so feel free to order before the game starts! Please arrive on time, as we need to know numbers for setting up the game. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we can still accommodate you as a traveller role for the first game. We’ll be playing the beginner script, Trouble Brewing , for our first games. If time permits, we may introduce an additional character in a later game to give everyone a taste of new mechanics and interactions without making things too complicated. Blood on the Clocktower is a game of murder and mystery, lies and logic, deduction and deception for seven-to-fifteen courageous players and one devious and/or delightful storyteller. A social game played in person, seated in a circle, each player receives either a ‘good’ or ‘evil’ token with their unique character on it. Good players share information to solve the game whilst evil players lie about who they are and what they know. The good team wins if they can piece together their knowledge, trust each other and execute the demon. The evil team wins if the demon can sow distrust, evade detection and wipe out the village.
