About Disney’s The Lion King
Disney’s The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre, London is the internationally celebrated musical based on Disney’s beloved film. Reimagined by director Julie Taymor, it follows Simba’s journey from a wide-eyed cub to his destiny as King of the Pridelands.
The stage production brings the story to the theatre in a live adaptation that combines music, staging and visual effects to tell the film’s narrative on stage.
Running time: 2 hours 30 minutes, including one interval. Performances are Tuesday to Saturday at 7.30pm, with matinees on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 2.30pm.
Before you book
Recommended for ages 6+. Children under 3, including babies in arms, will not be admitted. All persons aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit on their own in the auditorium. Every person entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket.
You will receive a confirmation email. If you choose box office collection, print the confirmation and bring it with you at least 30 minutes before the performance start time. If you choose e-tickets, they will be sent by email and can be printed at home. No refunds or exchanges are available after purchase. Strobe lighting is used several times during the performance. The venue opens 90 minutes before the start time, and guests must be seated no later than 5 minutes before the show begins.
Arrival times vary by seating area: 45 minutes before start time for Grand Circle and standing positions, 60 minutes before for Stalls and Boxes E and K, and 75 minutes before for Royal Circle and Boxes A, B, F and G.
