About Disney’s The Lion King

Disney’s The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre, London is Disney’s internationally celebrated musical, reimagined by acclaimed director Julie Taymor. The stage production adapts Disney’s beloved film with colours, effects and music, and follows Simba from cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands.

The show runs for 2 hours and 30 minutes, including one interval. Performances are Tuesday to Saturday at 7.30pm, with matinees on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 2.30pm.

Before you book

The Lion King is recommended for ages 6+. Children under 3, including babies in arms, will not be admitted. Everyone aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit on their own in the auditorium. All attendees must have a ticket, regardless of age.

You will receive a confirmation email. If you choose box office collection, print the confirmation and bring it on the day at least 30 minutes before the performance. If you choose e-tickets, they will be sent by email for you to print at home.

The venue opens 90 minutes before the start time. Arrival times vary by seating area: Grand Circle and standing positions 45 minutes before; Stalls and Boxes E and K 60 minutes before; Royal Circle and Boxes A, B, F and G 75 minutes before. Guests must be seated no later than 5 minutes before the performance, and latecomers may need to wait before being admitted. No refunds or exchanges are available after purchase. Strobe lighting is used several times during the performance.
