About Disney’s The Lion King

Disney’s The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre, London is Disney’s internationally celebrated musical based on the film. Reimagined by director Julie Taymor, it brings Simba’s journey from wide-eyed cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands to the stage.

The show turns the story into a theatre production with music, movement and staging drawn from the original film’s world. It is presented as a live musical at one of London’s West End venues.

Running time: 2 hours 30 minutes, including one interval. Performance times: Tuesday to Saturday at 7.30pm, with Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2.30pm.

Before you book

Recommended for ages 6 and above. Children under 3, including babies in arms, will not be admitted. Anyone aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit on their own in the auditorium. All attendees, مهما their age, must have a ticket.

You will receive a confirmation email after booking. If you choose box office collection, print the confirmation and bring it with you on the day, at least 30 minutes before the performance start time. If you choose e-tickets, they will be sent by email and can be printed at home.

The venue opens 90 minutes before the start time. Arrive by 45 minutes before the show for Grand Circle standing positions, 60 minutes before for Stalls and Boxes E and K, and 75 minutes before for Royal Circle and Boxes A, B, F and G. Guests must be seated no later than 5 minutes before the performance begins, and latecomers may have to wait before being seated, which may mean missing part of the performance. No refunds or exchanges are available after purchase. Strobe lighting is used several times during the performance.
