About the walk
Join Susan Hooper for a family-friendly bat walk around Connaught Wate. This will be a relaxed walk where we will use a bat detector and learn to identify different species.
The pace of the walk will be slow with quite a few stops as we set up the equipment, listen to bats ans learn about them. The finishing time is approximate and will depend on the sightings on the day.
Parents/guardians are responsible for your children/young people at all time. Please book attendance for all both grown-ups and children.
What to bring:
Our team and volunteers will have some bat detectors to use for the walk. If you have a bat detector, please feel free to bring it as well.
You may want to use insect repellent before we set off
Hand torch if you have one
Water and snack if you need them
